If you would like to have a go please contact us. You do not need to have any gear, we can teach you with our training equipment until you decide if archery is for you. We can help you decide which equipment to buy if you continue. If you have your own bow already we will gladly teach you how to use it.

After a couple of training sessions you will be asked to join the club which will include membership of the Irish Field Archery Federation. This will allow you to take part in any of the shoots put on by other clubs and any of the competitions held throughout the year.

Children from around 7 are welcome but they must accompanied by an adult, so parents bring them along and have a go yourselves.

Dunbrody Archers follows the guidelines for Children In Sport as laid down by The Sports Council and the Health Service Executive and has a qualified Child Protection Officer on it's committee.
